My greatest passion is turning ideas into tangible devices that solve complex problems/enhance the lives of other people. I have a wide scope of knowledge in mechanical, electrical, software, and health science. 

        I aspire to pass the PE Mechanical: Machine Design and Materials exam and get my license as soon as I have accumulated enough work experience.

Provided an alternative to the present generator rotor blocking assemblies considering increased robustness and cost position. Worked with Siemens engineers to create a new design and performed detailed FEA analysis using experimentally measured material properties.

This is a sub-scale test bed that I created to perform various experiments. The current configuration shown in this picture was used to measure radial deflections of steel laminations (not shown in picture) as small as 0.01 mm using a laser measuring device. It includes a stepper motor with cooling fan, 4:1 gearbox, and inner rotor. I designed the circuitry and programming to perform various testing procedures.
