This project provided excellent industry focused work experience. Our team was given a list of objectives and respective deadlines. It was ultimately up to us to decide how to approach and fix the problems at hand, and then deliver our results in multiple presentations throughout our senior year. Weekly meetings with industry and faculty advisers helped guide our efforts as we delegated and tackled each task. The scope of the project included CAD modeling and simulation (SolidWorks) and material research and testing. Overall it was a great opportunity to build teamwork and technical skills that are highly relevant to today's engineering job market.
